My Story

I was a nurse who loved making people feel seen, heard and valued. Then my own baby arrived almost three months early, weighing just under 2lb.

While my baby was being cared for in hospital, I wrote poems and drew the nurses looking after us. Those illustrations brought them so much joy that I kept drawing.

That’s when I discovered something powerful:
when I draw someone, they feel noticed. They feel valued. They feel special.

And that’s how I accidentally became an illustrator.

It began at my son’s nursery, where I discovered how much I loved telling stories — and how magical it felt when children joined in, laughed and became part of the adventure.

When I started my business, I shared stories I had written on the Metro while commuting to my nursing job. I also created greetings cards, giving people another way to show someone they were loved.

For me, storytelling has always been about connection. Whether through words, drawing or cards, I want to celebrate the joy in everyday life and help people feel seen, valued and loved.
